The only reason not to do so is the vanishingly rare chance that democrats turn a red state, which is basically the exact same argument they use to tell people to vote blue no matter who, but more compelling because it’s not typical genocidal am*rican politicians they’re voting for.

What are they going to do? Tell you they want to vote for a war criminal on principle? The positive political pressure of having a somewhat popular socialist party far outweighs the small chance democrats could have won (and this is even from their perspective, that the democrats winning would fix everything somehow)

I also feel this way. A lot of people in the Trump crowd actually see a lot of the same problems that we see, except they think the cause of these problems is [insert some extremely racist thing] or “muh woke” and not capitalism, but on the other hand, seemingly every person I’ve talked to who’s firmly in the vote blue no matter who circle seems to think everything is great actually and that they’ve never been better.

Yeah the liberals I know refuse to acknowledge there are fundamental problems that we should do something about.

The trump people see the problem but think the solution is killing minorities.

Not sure which crowd is more amenable.
