    This is an interesting, entertaining, well-researched and well-written piece exploring the nature of political networks and the power of presidential pardon, and doesn’t serve to be downvoted out of hand.

    Articles like this are not ammo for your opponents in a partisan shitflinging contest, they’re nourishment for your awareness of how politics actually works and how unintentionally comedic and convoluted white collar crime can be.

    If you’re a fan of Better Call Saul or Coen Brothers movies, you might appreciate it as a narrative if not as a lesson about political corruption. It reminds me a bit of the Clarence Thomas and Harlan Crow story.
