The action concludes days of disruption in the nation’s capital after Congress passed a bipartisan budget plan just after the deadline

After two failed attempts, the U.S. House on Friday passed a stopgap spending bill to fund the federal government through March.

The vote was 366 to 34, with one member voting present. Republicans cast all 34 votes against the bill.
