Thank you for the clarification, and the additional images clearly illustrates the scene. But that’s the catch with memes, they are only useful when everyone is in on the joke or if they are self explanatory like the no/yes drake meme—I’ve never seen the Hotline Bling music video, but it’s not really required.

To return to that original comment, I agree. Everyone needs to know how to fish. Not just cast the rod, but where the fish are too.

I’ve made some comments in another post about the protests going on in LA. I’m all for protesting, but my concern is the location. I think a lot of people got fixated on the inconvenience it put on the average person by blocking random intersections, and I agree, because I think they are fishing in the wrong spot. The energy they have is great. They have a fishing rod!! But to make that energy count in this particular fight, it needs to be—in my opinion—focused on people in power. For example, the front yard of a Senator. Or even just a government building.

To return to a gun reference, they’re using a Blunderbuss as a sniper rifle.

Yeah, at this point, I think the manual from WW2 on how to fight a fascist government through bureaucracy that’s been going around is probably more helpful than clogging up a freeway.

Inconvenience and hamper the ability to get everyday business done for these people. The people blocking the entrance to government agency offices have the right idea.
