I remember when I first saw Graham. I was so excited that I immediately homebrewed him into my D&D campaign as a playable human subrace. I felt so hopeful that one day we could genetically engineer ourselves into something as cool as Graham.

I don't think this was the intended reaction.

        The word choice of “subrace” is definitely not great but I could see this being used as inspiration for a fantasy creature.

          There’s all kinds of mutated body horror creatures in ttrpg’s it’s not that weird.

          I’m working on a half-slug half-man adventure module for instance.
