Dead in a ditch. About a decade and a half after that he has a renaissance, with the worst of his behavior attributed to the sorry state of mental healthcare. Maybe a documentary comparing/contrasting him and Brittany with the thesis that mental healthcare of that era was fucked in a multitude of ways, even if you were rich.
Eventually he dies
