I seem to recall this article going into it in more depth, but yes, Peterson himself has described his philosophy as "Pragmatism", basically he thinks knowing actual truth is impossible and even if it was it maybe undesirable, so he thinks humans should basically do grand scale "Truthiness" and make up whatever shit allows people to live most efficiently. Basically explains his fixation with myths and stories, he thinks we should all treat them as "real" and leave them unexamined cuz they're supposed to be guides to humanity or whatever.
