IIRC Fetterman was only liked here because he was better than the other guy, but never because he was good. He revealed himself to be pro-Israel pretty early in the campaign, and now we see that not only is he pro-Israel, he’s fucking out for blood and won’t even give a libbed up “both sides” statement.
US politics in a nutshell. Vote for the D because they are (obstensibly) a better option than the R. Once they get in office they show they aren’t much better. Keep in mind there is basically no discernable difference in foreign policy between the 2 parties in the US.
I met him before and he seemed pretty genuine for a politician. But of course he’s an American so, his understanding of the world is absolutely warped. My friend almost hit him at a crosswalk once on the way to a Bernie rally, back when we all had hope we could stall the soul harvesting machine. It’s a good thing tho that he didn’t hit him, since Fetterman is so large he would’ve totaled his car like a moose, and that was his only way of getting to work
