What we are seeing is no mass psyop, but fundamentals of human nature at work. Well exploited and wielded. Anyone and everyone subsceptible to it.
The “anticommunist” movements of the 20s (and then again in the 50s) certainly did a number on any actual leftist movement that might’ve existed in the U.S.
