i’m an osdd system. i always struggled with identity and never knew what i liked, who i was, etc. even now, i struggle sometimes, though it’s a lot better. is anyone else the same?

    If you’re American, our entire society is based on trying to stop people from knowing who they really are.

    I think the only way to truly know is to detach from society …or I guess detox from it and then re-enter it.

    we absolutely did. used to have panic attacks when even asked what kind of music we liked, or other simple things like that, just because of the dissonance. now that we are older and finally all talking to one another, we are each able to cultivate our own interests and so answering those questions and knowing ‘who’ we are metaphorically is getting easier.
