They moved to piefed and changed their name to be more clear about their intention (they felt the old name too much suggested there is only place for memes) !casualeurope@piefed.social

Nothing wrong with that. Just realised i hadn’t seen something not serious posted in this community i wondered whether it was because it wasn’t posted or because it was but got removed because of a rule.

No it’s an fork of lemmy i believe (or slightly edited?), not sure how it works on the backend but you can subscribe, and follow, and post and comment etc, just as with any regular lemmy instance.
