catbox.moe is a static image/file host I guess. As a tor user catbox.moe files do not load. Is this because they block them?

Sample link: https://files.catbox.moe/8fxsli.webp

Problem loading page

I get the page:

Unable to connect

An error occurred during a connection to files.catbox.moe.

Pardon my ignorance, but can’t you just use a different image host? What’s so special about catbox.moe?

(Edit: ooh you’re talking about viewing links others have posted. Sorry!)

I don’t blame them, a mostly anonymous file sharing service combined with TOR usually attracts a kind of user you don’t want or need.

TBF, some see little difference between those types of images. Although I get the difference between fantasy and reality, in some cases I’m not entirely sure they’re wrong.

Don’t misunderstand - I’ve got some… questionable tastes myself, but the legal troubles are not something I’d want to deal with in their shoes, either.

yeah thanks for presenting the perspective of a file-sharing-service who provides apparently free file serving over the web. I personally would never host a server that allows other completely unknown users to upload stuff. Too risky for me as a person.
