Drivers who saw it on the treacherous 22-mile trail told us it snapped multiple tie rods and needed a steering rack replacement.

This is one of the greatest vehicular failures of all time.
I hope they call Matt’s Off-road Recovery
It couldn’t have made it far in…
Edit: Cadillac Hill. Either it almost made it or it got stuck right at the start coming from the other way.
Edit Edit: Okay it appeared to had almost done the whole thing with a JL Rubicon support vehicle, 5 broken tire rods, and a replaced steering rack along the way. Not exactly a worthwhile effort but I think they knew what they were in for by bringing that many spare parts with them.
