Or any of the other eink tablets?
I’m really happy with my A6 X2 Nomad. Bought the device about a year ago and had no issues. I use it every day at work for taking notes, as well as a manga reader with by sideloading an app. Writing feels really good and i like the stripper down and focussed OS.
Partner got an A6 refurbished at the start of the year. Haven’t used it as much as them but pretty happy with it, can be a bit slow though if you’re flicking though a lot of pages. I think I’d prefer the larger one too if I was using it all the time.
I’ve been looking into getting a Kobo Libra Color. It’s not as good for writing as the Supernote, but it’s also like $100 cheaper and is perfect for reading comics and manga, which is what I really want. I hope I’ll be able to scribble on it too with relative ease!
I have their Manta. It’s pretty great. Writing feel is superb, the clarity and sharpness of the display is excellent, it’s android so sideload whatever you want, battery life is insanely good.
My only complaints are a lack of on-device encryption, and the undo gesture takes just a tiny bit too much effort.
I ended up getting the Manta too. Love it for the same reasons. Does exactly what I want and no more.
I was irritated that the kindle app broke but didn’t take long to find an alternative that’s way cheaper.
I also wish there was an easy way to send articles from the internet to the Manta for reading. As is, you can just send the link text and need to do too much to read it
