No he’s not. He could flee the country, he could go to prison, he could permanently injure himsel. There are many ways to simply not be a footsoldier for a genocidal regime.

True I would refuse too. But I know I’m particularly anti-authoritarian. I can imagine this would be a big deal for some young people especially with family and social pressure going on.
