    Very interesting video! I came across this topic in passing on a podcast where the host was talking about negative listener feedback when female hosts were on the mic specifically because listeners thought the vocal fry was annoying. The host pointed out as well that he had been doing it too though no complaints had come in about his voice. Kind of forgot about it until this video.

    Personally I like the vocal fry. But I somehow always assumed my Finish colleagues were just being bored when talking to each other instead of them making use of their complete vocal range lol.

      I have a very severe vocal fry but people just laugh about it with me rather than insulting me over it. I wonder if that’d be different had I had a female voice.

      And possibly people who cannot accept the world doesn’t revolve around them and people might just have a different anatomy and not actively put in effort to annoy them.
