How is it illegal to fund someone’s legal fees? I know its illegal for their campaign to get funded from overseas but if they are smart they are keeping their campaign fees separate.
I feel like since she is a candidate and a Democrat, all kinds of her funding is subject to all kinds of scrutiny. “Well I know these people gave me a donation via my campaign web site but it wasn’t used to fund my campaign” is exactly the kind of logic that I think you can get away with as a Republican but not as a Democrat, even when it is 100% truthful.
