I fucking hate Chris Christie, but he seems like the only reasonable Republican candidate. That means he will never get the nomination.
I wish he was polling higher just so Trump would pay more attention to him. They absolutely hate each other and would do everything they could to destroy each other and I would be making popcorn.
Yeah, and it could have something to do with the time that Trump tried to kill him by showing up to debate practice knowing that he was positive for Covid and infecting Christie, which put him in the hospital where he nearly died.
Yeah, Christie is out for blood. I just don’t know that he’s getting enough movement in his campaign to have an effect.
Dunno if it will be specifically Christie, but I went and registered as a republican just so I can vote for the least insane one in the primaries. Obv won’t be voting republican in the election itself, just doing what I can.
As someone whos frequently wondered what prevents someone from sabotaging their opposing party with these tactics, I applaud you for actually doing it, although I’m also slightly scared about how this gets abused in the future
The way I see it, they’ve demonstrated they’re gonna do everything in their power. The gloves are off. Me not doing it now won’t stop them from doing it in the future.
