For another website trick, just put “cancel” after any Twitter addresses to avoid making an account of the media you seek is found on Twitter. Instead of “x.com” followed by the nonsense afterward, use “xcancel.com” while leaving the rest of the address the same.

I wish lemmy instances would consider doing a URL auto-rewrite for x.com -> xcancel.com in general.
You can just install the ‘Redirector’ extension in your Firefox. And I’m guessing Libredirect also does this by default, among other redirects.
