Idk man. Maybe it’s because the world has gone mad and I can’t stop reading the news or maybe it’s because I’m going through a rough and decisive year but I’m just feeling bad lately. So much work to do, no time or motivation or money. Bad attitude too.
I miss being a kid
I feel this so hard man.
I have zero motivation to do my job lately. None.
I’ve been off since October. Scheduled to go back in February and I’m dreading it so much!!
Ive been trying this: When I feel the urge to read news or scroll lemmy endlessly (usually to avoid work), I open up kiwix and read articles or go on neocities and find cool websites. At best youre learning, at worst youre wasting time but entertainng yourself without fretting on stupid news you cant change. Its much better for your mind and health.
Also, if you wanna go “back in time” like I often do, get some emulators! Or get a classic system or a re release, they really arent thay expensive. Its a good way to have fun and be disconnected. I have a whole room dedicated to this but im spoiled.
