The agents then start to divvy up the man’s groceries, as the bystander tells them they had previously detained and deported her husband. “I fucking hate these motherfuckers,” the woman filming says as they drive off—presumably to the nearby Yakima ICE Detention Center.

    I’m probably splitting hair here, but I should point out that ICE goons aren’t police (because this story has been posted in The Police Problem). As bad as the police generally is, it’s 3 notches above the gormless ICE paramilitary.

    DHS officers and ICE agents in particular are the scum of the Earth, and incredibly, they manage to make the police look like a better alternative.

      I think this does belong in this community, but i agree the police is better at following the law than the people working for ICE. There being a difference is crazy though.

      Honestly, doesn’t matter. ICE is attempting to drag local and state PD into their operations wherever they can, and corruption is a cancer - even just INTERACTING with a corrupt system for long enough can rub the attitude off on you. A lot of local police aren’t this bad YET, but they’re gonna get there.
