As somebody who’s spent most of his life masking to get along in society, this track from The Sisters of Mercy’s 1990 album Vision Thing has always made me feel seen.

Best song on that album is Ribbons. That song gives me chills. It’s like a what someone would listen to just before some seriously messed up stuff goes down.
