I’ve reprinted this several times and still get the same result. I use the printing instruction to the ‘T’. I’m just trying to get a gauge if this is normal with this print and to just rock it or toss it. Everything looks good except the upper surface
The layers look a little round/thick and a little spaced out, maybe the print head is a little far from the bed?
Thank you for the input! I will definitely check that out. So I’ll be honest, since 300 blk fde’s setting aren’t able to be directly imported into the centauri carbon, I used chatgpt to convert all those settings into a usable file format, and although I probably should’ve cross referenced the before and after. I didn’t. 😋 Annddd as a result I’ve wasted a good 14hrs of print time. BUT, I did initially test the new settings on a DB alloy and the print came out beautifully. So I figured I was good to go on the other. Regardless, I’m going to go back and reassess everything. Again, thanks for the input guys!
It looks like your printer settings need tweaking?
Yeah it’s very odd bc everything else looks perfect, I used 300blk fde settings and the rails have strange artifacts. I’m thinking of printing it upside down but I don’t know if that will effect the integrity of the print… any suggestions?
I think sparrow is onto something, it’s been a while since I did 3D printing stuff but sparrows comment sounds like the right direction.
