It was both cold and misty in Prospect Park today, and this fluffed up robin seemed to be feeling it too … that appears to be frost on its tail!

    Rusty robin

    And this was perhaps its ancestor. Taken in early 1991, when I was a camera-obsessed kid, approximately 4 km from Prospect Park (but I will reveal no more!). It was originally a Kodachrome slide (PS: and camera was a Canon T70 which I had diligently saved up for). Thanks for sharing your beautiful birdie photos. I don’t have many so I had to jump on this golden (or rather rusty red-hued) opportunity.
