Welcome to the 200th edition of The Week in Polls (TWIP), which takes a look at the polling published for the Gorton and Denton Parliamentary by-election.

Useful for anyone trying to work out the best ‘Stop Reform’ candidate. Spoiler: it’s probably the Greens.

I’m generally not in favour of tactical voting except to stop fascism. Since I don’t want to be expelled from the Labour party, though, I cannot tell anyone that I think they should vote for a different party [WINKS AGGRESSIVELY AT YOU] such as the Greens [NODS IN A WAY THAT IS SLIGHTLY ALARMING], for example. Oh, no, not me, comrade, I would never criticise comrade Starmer.
