What will it take to invoke the 25th Amendment?

Donald Trump has launched a tirade against European countries that refused to join his war against Iran, calling out the UK and France, as transatlantic relations soured from the spiralling conflict that has wreaked havoc on the global economy.

On his Truth Social website, the US president told governments worried about fuel prices to “go get your own oil” by force from the Gulf, comments that sent oil prices even higher.

In a tentative sign of a more proactive European pushback to the war, it was revealed on Tuesday that France had blocked Israeli planes from flying weapons through its airspace while Italy refused last-minute permission for US bombers to land in Sicily.

Spain has already denied the US use of its bases and airspace for the war, and on Tuesday Madrid’s defence minister said the country would not “accept lectures from anyone”. The UK, meanwhile, has allowed the US to use its bases for a war its government says is illegal, but has nonetheless received public admonishment from Trump.

Isn’t it only isreali and US ships not allowed through the strait? IIRC, Iran is letting other nations sail through unmolested.

That’ll probably change once the US puts boots on the ground in a full scale war. And it’s looking more probable because airstrikes alone aren’t going to do shit except solidify a whole population to a single goal.

Starting a war likely on false pretense, without consulting NATO allies. Then blaming NATO allies for not taking part in that mess. Then claiming the oil crisis that results from his war is not his problem.

I’m on the fence on whether to put Trump in the chaotic evil or chaotic neutral category.

And yet they keep brown nosing the Cheeto.

    Why?

This buffoon… I’m sure the 25th is being discussed very quietly. He was in the hospital on the 5th after all.

I see this all shaking out to all interested parties making their own side deals and the US is left out in the cold. This can’t and won’t end well.

He’s bled us of our soft power, humiliated our nation, and is crushing the economy. The cost of a pound of hamburger meat is higher than the minimum wage for fuck’s sake and there are layoffs at the rate of about 1000 per day.

And he managed to alienate Saudi Arabia of all places.

No country is more than 3 meals away from revolution.
