The bark

The bark up close

The leafs

A leaf up close

The tree isn’t really flowering right now but here’s one of the buds
If anyone knows anything, I’d love to know. Thank you in advance for your time.
Some better photos of the leaves would help an app figure it out better
Try a shot up into the leaves with just leaves and sky in frame
Try another with a clear example of the leaf organization (similar to yours with the grass background) but with a different colour background
I’ll have to wait until next week when I’m back at the site but sure I’ll take better pictures and post them here
I’ll be glad to mess around with different combos on a plant identifier to try and get a good result
What it was sayi g was that thr bark and the leaves seem to be from different species so I think it wasnt getting a good read on the leaves
Also I tried a leaf anatomy thing on https://www.arborday.org/tree-identification and it was pretty hard for me to determine the leaf anatomy from your pics for that too
If you know a bit about leaf anatomy you could use a tree identification guide like this site:
https://www.arborday.org/tree-identification
My guess would be pear like the others say.
looks like pear, but not sure. not a botanist
Automatic identification via PlantNet summary

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
Out of these I’d say pear is most likely, possibly a crab apple or plum also so not narrowing it down much! It’s 100% not an Acer at least!
That’s the fruit developing post-flowering, not a budding flower btw, so go back to see how it develops and you should get a pretty good id soon. I don’t think plum fruits would look like that and crab apples aren’t typically so long stalked and more often in bunches, but I wouldn’t expect any plum/pear/apple to be so long stalked eitger, so perhaps a variety or species I’m not familiar with! Don’t know anything about Brazilian plum or mountain date though.
The only reason I’m not sure if you’re right is because I’ve been taking care of this site for years and never saw any fully developed fruits but this year I’ll keep an eye out for them when they fully develop because these got planted decades ago and nobody in the DOT knows what species they are.
Ty for your time.
more like bot-o-matically am I right
