    If I saw my favourite movie in cinema, I would give it a standing ovation. I’m not sure how long I would stand and clap. Five minutes seems excessive. Twenty seems absolutely unhinged. Even ten minutes would seem unhinged even from a time traveller from 100 years ago seeing Star Wars in cinema. There’s a standing ovation, and then there’s whatever a 20 minute one is.

    Can you (anyone?) imagine clapping for 20 minutes straight?

      No way, this is definite fart sniffing territory here. I can’t even imagine clapping 20 minutes straight for a Pink Floyd reunion with Syd Barrett coming back from the grave.
