On pixelfed there’s only images but you can filter mastodon for images. Why would I make two profiles and when do I post which image to which platform?

Most people have many social accounts. There are Twitter users and there are Instagram users and those who use both.
But in the fediverse, our versions are compatible with each other!
Personally, I post photos mostly on pixelfed but I follow myself on mastodon and boost them there.
