Click on “Copy Mbin URL”, or, if that doesn’t work, (usually because it’s a comment or a federated post), click on “Copy Original URL”.
(On Lemmy, these are the and respectively. Right click on them and select ‘copy link’ on your web browser.)

Paste it into your home instance’s search bar, and

Click on reply on your home instance. You will be directed to the correct thread, or a thread will be created for you.
Bonus tip 1: On your home instance (probably Mastodon), there is usually a hamburger, or triple-dotted menu that will allow you to take you to the original post on the origin server.
