You can crawl around on a single live wire as much as you want with proper grounding when getting to it. Slip, and your foot touches the other wire though? Yeah, you cooked or in for a drop.

You absolutely can not touch a live wire if you’re grounded. Birds (and this plant somehow) do it by landing on the live wire without being in contact with ground.
