Billionaire only went to prison because he fucked with billionaires. If this had only affected the lower/middle class, he would have gotten off with a slap on the wrist.

He won’t serve 25 either, maybe 5 at most.

They’ll send him to one of those privately funded prisons that will all of a sudden get a large mysterious investment.

It’s federal, so 50% minimum. Also I think he pissed a lot of people off, I think he’s going to be in there a while

Nah, it wasn’t just billionaires he fucked over, not even primarily. Some of his customers probably were in the multimillionaire category, but the vast majority were average folks just trying to build a nest egg.

Not many billionaires even bothered with crypto, they tend to be much more conservative with their investments. Mark Cuban was the only one I know of who had money in it, and it amounted only a few millions, which is literal chickenshit for someone like him.

Right? Its like saying Jeffrey Skilling went to jail because of stocks. Bitcoin is just a system doing what it was designed to do. Criminals gonna crime regardless of the medium.

Yeah, that’s like saying a murderer is there because gun.

No, they’re there because of what they used it for.

You’re closer, but he didn’t use Bitcoin. The scam was a shitcoin he had made up.

As far as I know, the FTX token wasn’t even the main problem. He did all kinds of shady stuff, mishandling customer funds, illegal business loans, etc.

Ummm actually… he laundered money through a newly invented coin. If he only had bitcoin he probably couldn’t have figured out how to scam those people
