Use of uBlock Origin (or comparable) should be considered mandatory! I also strongly recommend Fast Forward (a successor to Universal Bypass), since they both use ad-based URL obfuscators. Unfortunately they’ve been removed from both Chrome & Firefox’s official add-ons, but their guide has manual install instructions for many browsers.
