The sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.
I guess my reservation for such a decision is that I’ve seen many games with main focus on story but also great fighting. Like the original god of war or prince of Persia trilogies. But that’s an unfair comparisons given those are really, really good games.
I do agree I’d love to see better combat. It seems like the budget they had for the game they wanted to produce just necessitated making concessions somewhere. The environments, motion capture, voice acting, visuals are all great, and the combat just moves the game along without it becoming a walking simulator I suppose.
