I gave myself plantar fasciitis I did it so much. not that I stopped, of course, I just got some arch supports and kept pacing

        Well, you are indeed getting exercise - 10K paces is 10K paces. Plus, gravity is much kinder to a pacing body than a sedentry one…

        I used to do the stairs as part of it, but it gave me my 5th (and hopefully final) bout of plantar fasciitis, which lasted 18 mos, so no more of that…

    Only while on phone calls or waiting for the microwave’s last 90 seconds so it’s too short to go back to my desk and too long to hold the handle and watch the last second tick to done so I can open it right away.

    I have a circular path through my house that I’ll walk aimlessly whenever on the phone. On days without many phone calls, I’ll end up having a much much lower step count.

      I’m the same - as soon as I’m on the phone I want to be on my feet, even though generally I’m happy to be sat.
