Honestly I don’t get it. Davel has been on of my favorite members of the broader lemmy-lemmygrad-hexbear commentariat when it comes to knowledgable anti-imperialist takes in the posting trenches. He has consistently been among the best at having pertinent (even lib-denialism-proof) sources on hand and ready to go for when the libs, much in need of being owned as always, start clamoring for them, and then correctly pointing out their own debate bro perversion. I have unjokingly thanked him for his service before.

Yep, it was really strange, I thought it would be a simple matter of chopping Joker and being done with it, as a .ml user. Now I have made a Hexbear account, and while I won’t likely abandon my .ml account I will be able to jump ship if I wish easily.
Looks like he’s been doing shit like this for a while given what Marcie said, including weird racist and misogynistic defense of that guy months back, basically saying “lol he’s Indian he doesn’t know better, misogyny is just what Indians do” while calling her the chauvinist
