A grand jury has indicted two former Uvalde school police officers in the botched law enforcement response to the 2022 mass shooting at Robb Elementary school that left 19 children and two teachers dead, two Texas state government sources with knowledge of the indictment told CNN Thursday.

Absolutely. It seems condemning cowardice overshadowed protecting the police in this case.
Unfortunately it’ll likely get thrown out since the SC ruled that the police don’t have any obligation to protect people.
I think this one has legs, as they didn’t just fail to protect, but also prevented anyone else from going in.
That’s true. They’re like meteorologists in that respect. I wish I had the same security of employment in the event of complete failure to meet expectations.
