A lot of workplaces, including mine, block most top level domains except for the most common, due to many of them having very few legitimate users compared to spam and malware. .moe isn’t actually very bad and I don’t block it, but .top, .club, .buzz, etc are huge offenders when it comes to phishing and malware.
My workplace has .moe domains banned… I wonder what happened before.

I remember an extremely prominent one was a (pirate) Anime streaming site, basically the only one that hosted 4k blu-ray rips.
Catbox is also an extremely popular site for rehosting porn and the like from pay walled only fans and sharing questionable material on forums.
