Yeah, but as a person playing a game, that is a good place to stop and assess whether to restart/continue.

Excellent options. I can say for sure that neir is a great game and it can be short if you only do one playthrough. I did play on my steamdeck as well. Ni no kuni is fantastic but I still haven’t beat it. You really can’t go wrong.

Canada@lemmy.ca•Class action lawsuit over migrant farm workers' EI benefits, restrictions to proceedEnglish
4·11 days agoI’ve been struggling with similar systems in BC. Temporary foreign workers come in. Pay in to ei and other benefits. As soon as their job ends they have to leave the country. Where does that ei money go? There is no timeline for them to move to another employer and get another work visa while collecting any ei benefit.
Seems rigged.

2·23 days agoBecause this is for a primary, and the guy is already red, the only opposing political candidate is some other red guy. Not like a democrat can run in the republican primary. It was a stupid position to take. But now that CBS has been put on notice, they should plan their scheduling a bit more in advance around their programming.

6·24 days agoInsomnia was the first book from King that I read and had a real emotional connection to a story.
Even if you haven’t connected on other stories. That one was so good on a human level.

6·24 days agoI read the first one over my Christmas downtime. Moved on to the second one in the new year. I have a large collection of Stephen King, and Joe Hill books. Ive had a love of reading for a long time. These books have been like eating popcorn or chips. They feel like fanfiction of all my favourite games mashed together, but then had the quality increased about 10%. They arent bad. But they arent… Amazing. Like… I have bought 5 of them now, with the intention of supporting the author and finishing the series as I can. But I wouldnt say… Man you need to read this book. The Martian? Operation Hail Mary? Gotta read. Ready Player One? Yeah, that was solid. You should read.
Dungeon Crawler Carl? Its like a bathtub book. Or what I would consider a bathtub book if you weren’t interested in anything ‘spicy’ or vampires. So far solid 8/10

Depends where you live. I’m up in Canada and there are lots of products that are manufactured, sourced from, built or grown in the USA.
Lots of tv shows, online stores and even web hosts that. More about making the best choices when options are available.

391·3 months agoI posted this on another Trump/fentanyl news announcement.
When you think back… WMD was what justified the war in Iraq. Now he says this drug is a WMD and is coming in to USA from Venezuela but we know it isnt, most reliable news says so. He has also said it is coming from Canada. Is this his push to justify a full scale attack on Canada?

Climate change is real. I don’t need to believe in it. It has done terrible things to the world. There needs tie be serious substantial changes in how the government’s and big business act. There needs to be real pressure put on the elite jet setters.
The fact that the country spans from the arctic circle, down to damn near the equator is the reason there are such different weather patterns. The problem isnt the variety, it’s the location. There is an expectation to have heat on Florida, tornadoes in the alley, cold in the north. The problem is that they sensationalized the news to the point where you have to be a damn scientist to know wether this is a shift from the expected or bonkers off the wall.
Our systems have been overloaded for years and we have groups that do not know how to critical think or check for bias in the news articles they read, and that leads to panic.
To see a headline and immediately jump to a conclusion is the wrong thing. It has to be read and questioned. Before it can be understood and reacted to.
