i probaly missed something but what makes the final episode “incel”?
i think Wonder Egg Priority is worth to watch, my main complain is that it leaves a lot of unanswered questions in the end
Mahiru Kouzuki, a skilled artist, gives up on her passion after her elementary school classmates ridicule her colorful jellyfish mural. Several years later, upon encountering an unexpected admirer in Kano Yamanouchi—a former idol with a troubled past—Mahiru decides to pursue her childhood dreams once more. Tasked with designing the mascot for Kano’s new music project, JELEE, Mahiru enlists the help of her childhood friend and professional streamer Kiui Watase to make JELEE’s first music video. Together with Kim Anouk Mei Takanashi, a pianist and fan of Kano’s work as an idol, the girls aim to turn JELEE into a global hit. However, if they want to succeed in this ambitious endeavor, they will first have to free themselves from the shackles of their pasts.
So, Kiui Watase is AFAB but they use male or NB character as vtuber model to stream. It’s a bit unclear if Kiui is transmasc or non-binary, the show never said what pronouns they prefer, so that’s why i use they/them. Kiui doesn’t like that people judge them by their appearance, it shows thorought out the anime. There is one scene that is especially memorable, it’s culmination of Kiui’s story, they said on public how they feel about their identity, it’s a short one but very powerful. The anime isn’t primary focused on Kiui or their gender identity but it’s part of the story, you won’t have the same story if you remove Kiui identity, I think it’s good representation.
P.S. originally anime aired with 12 episodes, the 13 episode came out later separetely, I watched all of them, so what i said is related to all 13 episodes.
my brain make exact the same scenario in my head and also
being sent to past or another world where i can’t obtain estrogen, survive the apocalypse but not being able to find hormones, being in uninhabited island…
i don’t know why my brain do this to me :(
yeah, decision became active in January, the news is that yesterday Rosfinmonitoring (Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation) added “LGBT movement” to its own list. I guess, it’s just bureaucratic things?
For those who don’t know what Rosfinmonitoring is:
The Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation is a Federal Service that is aimed to collect and analyze information about financial transactions in order to combat domestic and international money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes. The organization also provides lists of people accused of terrorist or “extremist” activities and books.
not only gaying but also transing
This website is called “Myrotvorets” (peacemaker) and it’s not official kill list, it’s a database of people who are considered to be agents of Kremlin, separatists and etc by creators of this site. Personal data of these people (including home address) is published there. It’s still horrible and even though it’s against Ukraine law to publish such data without consent the government did nothing (Former human rights ombudsman Valeria Lutkovska tried to get the authors punished, but she was told that the work of the website was extremely important for Ukraine’s national security. Later, the Security Service of Ukraine issued an official statement saying that it did not see any violations).
The screenshot is old, news with that screenshot was posted in August-September of 2023, i found two sources:
Pro-Russian, claiming that the Pope was actually added but then deleted from the list: https://web.archive.org/web/20240310112313/https://ukraina.ru/20230830/1049030495.html
Pro-Ukraine, claiming that the Pope was never added in “Myrotvorets” and it’s just fake: https://web.archive.org/web/20231201061639/https://voxukraine.org/ru/fotofejk-papu-rymskogo-frantsyska-vnesly-v-bazu-myrotvorets
Either way the Pope isn’t on that list and it’s not related to his recent statement.
the site is also available in Russian and English languages, so the usage of Russian isn’t weird in that case, however i didn’t find any proof of that screenshot being true
probably supports Russia for cringe rightwinger reasons
well Russian government banned transition in last year, so that checks out…
my problem with demons is their lore. It’s the only thing that makes me uncomfortable in Frieren. They are intelligent beings but unlike other races like humans, dwarfes and elves, they are born evil. And in this anime, if you doubt that all demons are monsters that should be purged, you will be punished by rules of this world. I don’t like it. This is imaginary world, you can set it up how you want but for some reason the creators of manga/anime decided to create a world where some beings are just simply evil by nature and must be eliminated. I would like if in Frieren world, demons would be something that people become, like by solding their soul to dark forces or something. In that case i wouldn’t be having a problem with them. Also, to be fair, this problem isn’t unique to Frieren, a lot of fantasy stories has the same problem. But i was hoping that there wouldn’t be such thing in Frieren :(
i literally joined hexbear because i heard how trans supportive this place is
defederated after they did WHAT? i am pretty new here so i don’t know what happened, can someone enlighten me, please?
Kanojo ni Naritai Kimi to Boku - is short but heartwarming manga about trans girl Akira who is early in her transition. She has a childhood friend Hine who supports her no matter what. Since Akira decided to be presented as girl full time she got a lot of attention and Hime decided to help her friend by crossdressing as a boy. I like this manga because it’s literally about trans person and it’s not denied unlike in many other manga where character swap their gender, they enjoy it but they are still cis™ tho.
so happy for her
that’s not the first time i hear that “cheating and stealing is part of their culture”, where did this bs came from?
the perfect ad for hexbear doesn’t exi-
hexbear is an online marxist transgender cult
i would be very concerned if someone vote for either of them
can i have one gay bottle, please?
that’s gross.
i think i didn’t interpret ending in this way because i was really confused at what was happening and idea “females are just crazy” doesn’t align with earlier episodes. Problems with production explains why the result is that messy.
