That always pissed me off. They were basically telling me “You’re going to become a selfish fuckwad by the time you’re my age. You’ll stop caring about civil rights. You’ll stop caring about the environment.” Etc.

A Trump never pays his debts.

I love how the lady isn’t horrified. Instead, she’s just casually looking over at the chicken with mild curiosity.

Even more important is that electors can’t vote for a President and VP from the same state. It’s why (for example) Dick Cheney changed his residence to Wyoming in 2000.

Reminds me of that Trump supporter who whined that “He’s not hurting the people he needs to be hurting.”

I had plenty of sympathy for restaurants when the pandemic first hit. Extra fees? Yeah, I get it, and I’ll throw in an extra tip for the workers who are braving the place so that my fat ass can get some delicious food. The problem is that they haven’t dialed back the fees/tipping requests. If anything, they’ve gotten much worse.

But capitalists told me that infinite growth was possible!

The guy’s a fucking nutter, and the fact that he’s polling at ~14% is absolutely appalling.

This feels like the plot to a Seinfeld episode.

I never thought I’d side with Disney on anything, but then came Ron DeSantis. I never thought I’d side with Reddit mods on anything, but then came spez.

Been doing some gardening, but I’m so awful at it that even my mint plants are struggling. : /

I didn’t necessarily mind the automod comments, but I did hate the fact that there was no way to disable them for subscribers of a sub. It got very obnoxious very quickly.
