I’ll vote for Spigen and it’s sister company, Caseology
That’s mad dude, at this temp people won’t stop to help…hell…most people won’t stop to help in nice weather.
Just remind him to be carefull of the stupid drivers in our city.
This temp breaks a lot of cars, which sucks. My own car always breaks something in the yearly cold snap. This year it’s the block heater.
Nope. Regina, Saskatchewan.
Yes, I know what joke you are going to make…come on get it out of your system. I’ll wait.

What - a - banger!!!
Thanks a lot Ernest, you are the best.
Yup, since last night using Kbin (on both the web app and Tundra) has been a lot smoother. I’ve only encountered a couple of error screens.
If you wouldn’t mind, what did happen to Kbin? Was it a Lemmy update…kbin specific problem?
Anyway I just want to say thank and to make sure you take breaks whenever you can.
@jwr1, you are amazing!
I’m so excited for this new app and I also like that you’ve kept this app open-source.
New app…WHOOOHOOOO!!!
Firstly I’d like to wish hariette is well and safe.
Now…come on man. I get that different people deal with different things differently but we should be aware of our impact and the people that depend on that.
I don’t want to be too much of a downer but I’m so bummed that the app had to be abandoned because the developer was unable to guage their limit.
Anyway I just hope Hariette is healthy and happy.
Oh ma gaad! A Canadian city actually did it.
I’ve been talking about this for years. I live in Saskatoon and this city has a couple of amazing places that should be converted to car-free. Though I dont think that will ever happen here.
I’m a dumdum when it comes to this market analysis stuff, what the hell am I looking at?
Guess I’m in the minority here but I like it!
I just finished the Aranara quest and I loved it…I am the type of person who like a long adventure so Sumeru is right up my alley.
Since I’m from East Asia, names are not a problem for me and that made reading all the dialog much easier but I will say for such an integral quest, it really should have been narrated. The words in it are complicated to read and pronounce and I get the frustration of non-Indian people…“Ararakalari” doesn’t roll off the tongue now does it.
Last thing I’ll say is the change in opinion after a region releade is typical of the genshin community. People burn themselves out with the same characters and scenery and then complain that the game is stale. I spend time all over Tevat because sometimes I get bored of my surroundings so it’s nice to goes somewhere else every once in a while.

I am so out of the loop, wtf is going on there?
Hell yeah dude, go science.
Uh…unfun fact, It’s estimated that 80% of people to ever exist have died due to Malaria so, fuck mosquitoes, fuck Malaria and fuck yeah science!
Yup, we are all with you dude!
Alright, so…I cannot find the person that posted this explanation but I think it makes more sense than the ‘email analogy’.
Imagine the fediverse as a universe. Full of other solar systems and we are in the Kbin.social system
Now when we talk about Earth, we know it’s in our solar system but what if another solar system also has an Earth, then what? Well, then we’d make sure to say which system it comes from, like Earth@ProximaCenturi or Sun@AndromedaGalaxy.
Same thing applies when we talk about places here, for example c/memes. When we talk about our memes we don’t need any more info…it’s the memes in our ‘solar system’. But I want to talk about memes from the lemmy system and to do that I’d add the location info like memes@lemmy.world.
Tldr: instances are like other solar systems and magazines are like planets in those solar systems. We can hope in our ship and visit any other planet in the other solar systems
Fair reasoning but I still think Ryan is in the right path.
He is right that shoving a holographic display and the computer bits in the helmet either makes it bulky, heavy, and useless or you’d be paying up the wazoo for what is an engineering exercise.
A simpler interface that solves current problems in my opinion would be much better than trying to make an Ironman helmet.
