Very interesting. Looks like it was quite a popular decorative element. Saw some nautilus shell in Jan Matejko’s house-museum in Kraków. If i remember correctly, it was with like metal extension and partially galvanized, beautifully decorated with small [also metal?] figure of some child with a flute riding a dragon. Guess i have too much attention to details 👀
It’s from that fancy book written in 1898 by some underrated Anglo-Saxon dude, there’s also a film featuring some actor guy, whose actual name is Thom or something alike. There are, in fact, many notable books from this subject, many of which reflect differnt aspects of human nature — some people may find it pretty relatable to their views and even still relevant. The truth is multilayered and versatile.
For example, and also to add variations: noticed some people just periodically fuck others and do as less as possible of any other activities, but in such cases sex is enough for the second to remain in state of constant addiction affection towards first ones. How and what both sides of relationships feel and think about the matter is an object of their individual perception.
But if going in a fields beyond just sex (as one of primary primal definitions of love — because mating-mating, children-children, instincts-instincts), then you’ll find out that many human beings aren’t getting any love at all. Absence of care is also a significant reason of many people’s insecurities and hatred towards everything and everyone, usually including themselves.

Like there’s a leader, who’s main purpose is to make or rather force other countries’ citizens to hate citizens under his jurisdiction (by stimulating them to do shit towards others). Then, using this accumulated hatred, they release war hounds and extermination overpumped by hatred begins. It may be each country against all other or alliances vs alliances. But this external hatred is not kinda enough according to them, so they also stimulate division among people within each country. Then a brave new world of ignorance comes out with words like “peace”, “equality”, “mercy”, “forgiveness”, “ethics”, “morality”, “literally_anything_good_hood”, etc. coming from every corner and every shithole. There are just less people and not much clue on da fuck have happened. Lives that can’t be restored, wasted time that can’t be regained.
