Yay! I’m glad things worked out for you, comrade!
PlateUp is on of my favorites to play with my husband. It’s similar to overcooked with roguelike elements.
Chained together is another we’ve had a lot of fun with. It’s simple but satisfying and not too difficult.
It takes two this one is really great, long campaign and lots of competitive minigames. The writing wasn’t my favorite but didn’t detract from it.
Castle Crashers one of my favorites from my childhood.
Spelunky absolute banger of a platformer, also roguelike, very fun
I’ll add more later if you’d like!
I’m not in a position to help much, but I’m glad you’re still here. Bump, and tell Creamsicle I latework says hi.
My husband just told me that when he was little, he didn’t know there was a save feature in crash bandicoot until he revisited the game as an adult.
I think it was more akin to he’s more consistent predictable and easier to plan around, in that Trump was a bit more of a wild card.

That’s funny my husband and I were just at the woodland park zoo on Monday and asked if they had any possums as part of the ambassador program. They didn’t then, but it looks like we’ll have to go back again soon to meet Skookum!
Close enough in my book!
