I’ve always been suspicious of Easy Apply. I’ve also been afraid of fake postings and bots. You never know how legit some of the opening are.

Because I feel like Reddit is to good for me.

It’s not the ability to do something, it’s the choice alone.

Yeah if all the Fundies and capital G gamers could stay at Reddit, that would be great.

I like that idea. The corps and sellouts get their own place, the underground has theirs, normies, weebs, etc. Everyone actually gets a place and unlike Reddit, they can’t really encroach on one another.

What about my funny ape pictures? Won’t someone think of my funny pictures that costs a cities worth of energy???

I’m having the same problem, you have to be careful not to click on the Pic itself.

The less algorithms the better

I got Mastodon and liked it well enough but I’m still getting used to it. Lenny, I’ll admit, is super confusing, but I can see it’s potential and I’m really excited to get more involved. In the 10+ years I’ve been on reddit, I think I’ve only posted or commented a handful of times. With Lemmy, I want to make more of an effort to participate.
