Mate that camera is at least anatomically compatible and smooth on the sides.
Try getting a scrub down your peehole in search of any type of pus and pray they find something quickly lest they search deeper.
And don’t ask me how I know.
Hi there, I see you mentioned Japan.
Did you know that Japan had concentration camps comparable to Nazi Germany during WW2? It was called Unit 731, where thousands of prisoners, mostly Chinese, were subjected to lethal tests involving diseases, vivisection, and other forms of torture. These experiments aimed to develop biological and chemical weapons, resulting in an estimated 200,000 to 300,000 deaths.
The more you know!
My disappointment is immesurable and my day is ruined.
People aren’t made that way, but competion incentivizes that.
Why oh why would people be against the very institutions where such behaviours are reinforced?
I mean, considering how many bluescreens Windows is giving these days, you’ll probably have a more stable experience in Arch lol.
OpenSUSE tumbleweed: Up-to-date, unbreakable due to Btrfs+snapper, very secure defaults (firewall), based in Germany. It works perfectly on my Thinkpad, so I couldn’t ask for better.
Do you trust them? The Curve sub is full of people complaining about fraudulent transactions. Kinda makes me afraid of unlocking my card lol.
What do you even need those graphics cards for?
Even the best games don’t require those and if they did, I wouldn’t be interested in them, especially if it’s an online game.
Probably only a couple people would be playing said game with me.
I wantnto say thst i really really like the way SailfishOS looks, those gnome icons are unmatched in phones.
I just don’t think Sailfish OS is ready for daily use at all. Like, it needs a few more years in the oven before it can be even considered for mass consumption. These small companies unfortunately need to play it safe.
Yes Android is US-based but it’s also open-source. Doesn’t mean that fact can’t change of course, but I don’t see better EU alternatives ATM.
cant swap the battery without a screwdriver anymore
The horror. Imagine using any other phone where you can’t take the battery out at all (at least until 2027 when all phones will be forced to have removable batteries).
I think Fairphone has bigger contentions to deal with than having to use a screwdriver.
Indeed.
This phone is so niche that the only OS that it only makes sense to work in being compatible with GrapheneOS, the crème de la crème of custom OSes.
I’d just ship from Pixel immediately if Fairphone ups their game to the point GrapheneOS wants to work with them.
Go read Taiwan’s constitution, it’s right there. The only reason why Taiwan doesn’t talk about it publicly is because in international relations being the oppressed underdog gets you more diplomatic points.
In real terms, most countries don’t recognise Taiwan’s independence either, and that includes the EU and the US.
The US only pays lip service to Taiwan’s independence because it’s a free talking point in their broader “China Bad” propagan machine.
It is though. Both countries claim the other part to be part of the other. Denying that is just western histeria.
it’s like Spain wanting Catalonia to be under control. Why would Spain want to lose control of a part of their own country?
Lmao in hindsight I probably didn’t read the graph correctly. Apparently more people want on desktop. I was looking at the dovosoon by country.
Still, are people watching porn in cafes? Or worse, are they masturbating in public? Hmm…
Well, I’m confused as well. Like, I never ever watched porn on my phone. Only on desktop. But apparently I’m a 6% minority.
Framework is a US company and nobody wants to pay a premium to advance fascism thank you very much.
Thinkpads are a safe choice. I have the same use case as OP and i use one. Battery last 7-8h of light use, plenty for a plugless day’s work.
