I just watched Dopesick and I don’t want to water down the disgusting impact of addictive painkillers and the slimy people who sold them but it made me think of influencers and the sickness of never being good enough they are creating in our day. Just because you get paid, get free trips, someone needs you make them even more money and puts you on a pedestal it does not = good. Glamor might be fun for spectators but it comes at a cost to others but the lowest people like Sarah don’t care.

Lazy hobby mom says good morning from her bed when she’s been away for a week and everyone else cares for the kids and home. She’s hardly seen L but still lays in bed posting for her career job and making more content instead of cherishing some special time with her. Shane’s been putting her to bed every night and this morning instead of letting him rest she plunks back in bed. She is so selfish. My bet on their big fun day is heading to the mall to buy L’s love.

It really makes you wonder if she bursts into tears or gets violent when someone tries to ask for more support at home. Nothing bad has ever happened to Sarah, why is she so catered to? Shane has to have zero gumption to live this kind of life - money or not. I come from a very large family so many in-laws and from the in-law side there is always a hesitation to use the grandparent in-laws. I don’t think much of any of them but Shane has to feel like an ass passing of his kid while his wife is away playing.

And she’s leaving again next week. I wonder how L feels in her little heart. Her mother must feel so distant right now. Sarah could have stayed home. She’s hoping to get attention as J clearly hasn’t want to be her sidekick recently. It’s just not a good look!

I thought the same. If she’s missing her toddler so much she has to disrupt her sleep she could maybe…just choose her daughter over her career job things everyone and a while. I bet she craves a grand welcome when she comes home from trips and they probably all prefer it when she’s not home.

Sarah isn’t only impacting her kids lives but her “angel” mother is tied down because L needs her. What if Sarah’s sister needed some help or just wanted a visit with her mum but she can’t because everyone serves Sarah. How sad is that? She is so incredibly selfish.

Her statue poses on the red carpet are so stiff. She is never just living. The other girls are just so free and it truly shows on their faces.

I feel like she wakes up, reads our posts, and tries to convince us we’ve got it all wrong. Her post has her on the red carpet sucking up to other models and the unfiltered photos from the make up artist. She’s always just going to be adjacent - most of us can be okay with that and live our best lives. Sarah has such a sad existence.

Such a try hard. I don’t know who got her into that party but she wasn’t a special guest or walk the red carpet (there would be photos bragging). She’s just there - trying to get attention, manifesting getting into SI. She looks like she knows who she needs to charm, getting attention from men because the woman there probably ignore her. Of all the goals to have or the reason to leave your little girl for weeks at a time….

Looks like she created a reason to go see the other BFF because Briony was getting recognized at an event. She was the last person to offer congratulations. The mean girl that she is is screaming but people can’t see it.

Influencers are all about driving consumerism (thank you for making it so hard for some people to live) and unrealistic standards for woman around hair and face. Sarah’s travel bag here was either gifted or a splurge after she shilled her own design to her followers - just to make money. I know it was a couple of years ago that she did the bag with Poppies and Peonies but she never used the bag herself. Idiot. She banks on woman spending their last 100$ on things she designs or recommends with out a care for their well being. She’s a snake.

Yeah, when you create an account just to comment on Janette - not suspicious at all! I can’t comment on how Janette was going about her efforts to draw attention to the grossness that is influencer culture because I’m too afraid to even like her page. Most of us don’t want Sarah, or our many friends who follow her, to know who we are. She had the guts to say something and that’s big.

Thought the same - Shane must be away or out last night. Another sweater she’ll wear once and only cares about because it’s #trending. Go on your big girl boss trips Sarah that are all about you while creating absolutely nothing for the family you have and your children who actually deserve a sliver of your attention. Making cute videos playing with your toddler doesn’t fool me - it’s just for show.

Oh my goodness, NO. But let her go ahead. Bargain bin books might give her and the people who put her name on things a clue to how many people actually know who she is. It is very, very easy to make a book if you have the money to these days. If she publishes she put the money behind it, I won’t believe for a second someone paid her to do it.
