Well said! Her own “joys” - because she’s really just searching for wholeness in on the wrong places. I just watched Dopesick and I don’t want to water down the disgusting impact of addictive painkillers and the slimy people who sold them but it made me think of influencers and the sickness of never being good enough they are creating in our day. Just because you get paid, get free trips, someone needs you make them even more money and puts you on a pedestal it does not = good. Glamor might be fun for spectators but it comes at a cost to others but the lowest people like Sarah don’t care.
