Physical media forever.
That was 2010 though so it was before the snowflake uprising.

Probably quite well. It only really has to render the planes in detail. Most of the gameplay will have low resolution land textures as you’ll be a long way from it.
Unless of course you’re about to crash into it.
My favourite thing they do is scream YOU’RE SHIT! right after you’ve just handed their ass to them.
The focus of the devs before launch should be making the game and any day one patch as good as it can possibly be.
DLC work shouldn’t start and definitely should not be announced before release.
It’s not a good look that they planned to release an incomplete game. Clearly Eddy was in their plans from the get go but they decided to hold him back for extra cash knowing people will pay more for a legacy character.
Yep. Supposed to reply to echo64.
Having DLC plans and announcing DLC before release are two very different things.
Announcing before launch isn’t a good look and makes them look greedy.
I’m a combination of all 4.
If there is no possible way of buying a game legally that supports the devs then I just torrent them or download a rom. As far as the publisher is concerned it’s no more harmful to them than buying a used copy. They get nothing either way.
Completely agree.
There’s a difference between a fun challenge and hard for hards sake.
Dark Souls just wasn’t fun and there’s too many games to play to spend time with games I’m not enjoying.
I played Dark Souls and hated it. I’m not one for games that are intentionally hard as nails.
It’s only about 1 a week on average and I’ve done 3 already. Plus I’ve usually got two in progress at once. One on the PS3 or PS5 and one on the Vita.
I wonder if it needs a GamePass subscription or if it’s pay-per-slice?
Diablo IV to just see what all the fuss is about.
Games that aren’t free do though. Forza Horizon 5 and Sea and Thieves for example need Xbox Live on console to play online yet on PC online is free despite them using the exact same servers.
The annoying thing about that is Xbox games on PC are free to play online but I have to pay to play the exact same game online on my £450 Series X.
I’ve often wondered how the PC community would react if Steam started charging for online gaming. That would be fun to watch.
This is true but games that use P2P matchmaking shouldn’t require a subscription as no servers are needed. P2P also better because all the time there are people playing them they will always work.
As for games that use servers and/or are always online that will one day go away should never be full price.
Take Gran Turismo Sport as an example. That was sold as a full price game and when the servers are switched off this month 98% of the game will become unplayable.
It made be more thankful I buy my games physically so they’ll work with any account.
Also I didn’t think anyone actually cared about the overpriced cosmetics in CoD.
