People are trying to cancel for him for “cheering for the deaths of his fellow soldiers” at a US military base in Jordan, as if I couldn’t like him any more lmao
Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse had this to say
I’ve got a feeling it was an Amy fan, and possibly didn’t understand the gravity of what they’ve done. Amy was a unifying force, she probably has more Muslim fans, because there’s more Muslims, than Jewish fans. My friend of mine was in Dubai a couple of weeks ago and Amy’s merchandise, flying off the shelves
Imo the person who did it probably knew but her father clearly doesn’t gaf lmao
Watch it Jack, I just got off the rotary with my good friend Dwight E and the HUAC’s filing quite a few onionskins on you pinkos
The loathing for wide groups of people from countries with bad governments that include comrades and are mostly working class people get me a little bit. Americans are evil racists, Canadians are genocidal pigs that hide it better, Germans have nazism in their blood, Europeans are fascist scum, Hindu-Indians are far-right supremacists, British people are neo-colonial transphobes, South Koreans are socially backwards bootlickers, Japanese are atrocity denying fascist sympathizers, etc. etc.
I feel like using extreme general statements about working people is not only dumb but anti-materialism, it’s like, you’re implying certain groups of people are inherently more [x negative quality] because of the imaginary construct of a region they happen to be from? And people only get how this is bad when reactionaries stereotype Russians or people from anti-west states? Even when large swaths of a country are basically ignorant, that’s just humans being shaped by their culture, environment, laws, material conditions
E.g. I didn’t like the posts about how Germans fucking suck, are apparently prone to supporting Israel because of their genocide-conforming-skull-shape 80 years later, and should be lucky their people weren’t wiped from the face of earth when most of my family are leftist anti-zionists in Germany
I also don’t get the extreme hatred of everyday liberals, from my experience, most are naive but well-meaning. Like cmon, most of the people in your life and the people you care about would probably be (rightfully) banned from this site for liberalism
I wrote this at 4am so sorry for the run on sentences n stuff
They technically have their own prime minister-ish figure and are a semi-autonomous nation with their own succdem led parliament. Like they still have to submit to England, but I guess they appease Scots by allowing them some different systems
For example, university is tuition free in Scotland but insanely expensive in England, which basically makes Scotland 50% USSR to these people

Not the only thing that was giant from what I’ve seen
In an effort to win Gen Z voters, the Biden campaign is weaponizing pretty twinks and adorable kittens: perhaps the most innate desires of college students in 2023
Pro-Palestinian young people. I’m a teenager (19). The large majority of young people don’t watch MSM and get their news from social media. On tiktok in October, there were comment sections FULL of stuff along the lines of “wow, I had no idea about this situation until recently.” I mean, a couple of my friends supported Palestine in the past, but I think quite a lot of people were pretty oblivious before
True but also, half the pro-Palestine people now didn’t know shit about it, or were even sympathetic to Israel, before October. I think it’s just more clear cut who’s the aggressor and Israel being on stolen land
it’s worse than South Africa, Apartheid pales in comparison to what’s happening in Palestine, Palestine is the equivalent of an open air concentration camp
Fully agree this is far more extreme than South Africa, plus South Africa was <15% white, while a one state Palestine would be around 50% Jewish (and far more Palestinians than Israelis are under 18). Imo, the ideal coexistence would be administered by an eastern/global southern power, but however it’s brought about, you’d need to abolish the current fascist “law of return” and give the Palestinian diaspora (over 6 million people, mostly in Jordan and Syria) right of return, reparations, etc.
Obviously deport all first generation settlers (>20% of Israel’s current population) back to America and Europe, but it gets more complicated for a lot of people born there, and wouldn’t really solve much imo. For one, roughly half or more of Israeli Jews are Arab Jews/Mizrahi (which would surprise some people seeing how white their government is). This is largely because, 1) intermarriage between Ashkenazis and Mizrahis has become common (if one of your parents are Ashkenazi and another Mizrahi, you’re just considered Mizrahi), and 2) immigration, coercion, and kidnapping of Arab Jews from other countries was a big thing.
Mizrahis are indigenous to the Middle East, but they’ve essentially had their culture stolen and been forcibly assimilated. So “deporting all settlers” wouldn’t solve much and would be pretty complicated to define. While Mizrahis aren’t settlers, they’ve been indoctrinated their entire lives in the same way Ashkenazi Israelis are, and even attempt to prove themselves to the settlers by being even more fascist in a lot of cases. So unfortunately, any resistance and violence from settlers would be equally if not more likely from indigenous Mizrahis either way.
As sick and fascist as the Zionist entity is, I don’t think South Africa style reintegration is a pipe dream. You have a lot of examples in history of this, look at reconciliation after the Rwandan genocide for one.
There was a zionist rally of around a hundred people in my city after the Oct 7th attacks. I live in a 53% non-white city in New England. So looking out my window and seeing a 100% white crowd marching downtown was pretty uncanny
I feel like there isn’t a huge difference between how a 19 and 21 yo look, it’s only 2 years
Also I grew up in a small town where it was over an hour walk or a 20 minute bike ride to the grocery store. I used to bike to school (which took half an hour) and was almost hit a few times. There’s no sidewalks in most the town either
In my current city, I’m a 2 min walk to the bus stop, a 5 min walk to the grocery store and a 10 min walk to the train station. If I feel like I might be late for something I’ll bring my skateboard and turn 10 minutes into 4. Kinda feels like more freedom to me
Isn’t it more dystopian to be forced to own a car? Mf most Americans are coerced into paying ridiculous amounts of money just to be able to get anywhere!
“The government wants to trap us in 15 minute zones” I say from my gated suburban neighborhood that I couldn’t survive in if my car broke down or got repossessed because I defaulted on my loan
You can see this along countries and cultures too; westerners are usually way more stingy than people in the global south. Middle Easterners, North Africans, South Asians, Latin Americans, etc. will constantly try to do favors for family, friends, acquaintances. Muslims will randomly offer and insist on giving people free gifts or food. I’ve heard Swedish people tell guests to wait in the other room while their family eats dinner.
