Does Gentoo have something special that other distros do not?
Isn’t there a Gentoo installer like with Arch?
Nope. That’s the “something special”. You do it manually with the help of a very well written handbook and learn a great deal about how an os works. IMO a great experience.
Proclaim the Gospel of W. C. Jesus!
I love this wild mess with these gorgeous flowers and buds in between
Und zum Überleben müssen die Ameisen lernen, den Roboterhund zu kontrollieren – dann wird’s lustig
Maybe you could put another stick on top
A really beautiful Cuprea!
Some time ago I bought a very small Cuprea myself and almost lost it. I found it difficult to keep the soil continuously not too moist, but not too dry either. When there was no leaf left, I repotted it in a Lechuza planter (a combination of baked clay granules, water reservoir and self-watering wick) and it recovered. I guess that keeps the right balance and avoids root rot.
Glad you like it and TIL all the English names for the parts of a flower 😁
Of course it only lasted 2 days but it was worth the wait
Edit: grammar
God help us when those two clash

Goals (for the distant future …or maybe I delegate this task to another me in the multiverse, we’ll see)
I have no clue, but I imagine this hard grown clump with multiple stems is several decades old.
Good boy! (The dog too!)
Wow it looks like porcelain, haven’t seen that before
At first glance I thought you grafted them on San Pedro cacti and i was wondering what you did with the cuttings 🍵😵💫🌈 lol
Maybe you’re lucky and the top right rootstock grows a new branch – but that’s a long time for those cute little cacti to corrupt your evil soul with beauty and love ❤️🩹 So be careful!
First it looked a bit etiolated but now it’s full of leaves 👏
Ty 😁
